Stack the jars in a tower with four jars at the bottom, then three jars, then two jars and finally one jar on top. Have the tower built either on the floor or on a table. Determine a reasonable distance from the tower where the thrower will stand. Throw the balls at the tower and try to knock over as many cans as possible in your four throws. The person who overturns the most cans wins. You can also add up the numbers on the jars to calculate the points for the winner, which also teaches the child math skills.
