RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & RETURNS
As a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the time you receive the goods.
You have the right to open the packaging and check that the product works without any cost. However, you as a consumer are responsible for any reduction in value of the goods, including the original packaging, due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the characteristics and function of the product.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us as soon as you know that you want to cancel your purchase. Contact us via Live chat or at email@example.com
Then, please return the product to us. Please note that you are responsible for the risk if the product is damaged during transport back to us. Therefore, please make sure the product is well-packaged. The product being returned should be unused and in its original packaging, with tags and labels intact. The original product packaging with the specially designed inner packaging helps the product stay stable during transport.
Please do not put address labels directly on the product packaging, but instead place the original packaging in another package.
In cases where accessories are missing or physical damage is found on the product, we reserve the right to charge a fee to restore the product to functional condition. Festgiganten refrains from making such a deduction if the product is returned in substantially unchanged condition. In case of optional gift wrapping, this will not be refunded on a returned item.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following items if the sealing is broken or if the product has been used:
- In-ear headphones
- Underwear and swimwear
- Wigs and hair extensions
- Optional gift wrapping
The right of withdrawal does not apply to companies.
Before contacting us, it is helpful if you:
Have your order number at hand
– Have noted or can describe the error as clearly as possible
– If you make a complaint via email, we appreciate if you attach a photo or short video clearly showing the error.
In the case of a complaint, the error can be remedied in different ways, such as repair, price reduction, replacement or cancellation of the purchase. In the case of a refund for a complaint, the refund will be made within a reasonable time, without undue delay. We always keep in touch with you as a customer during the process so that you feel safe with the purchase you have made from us.
For complaints, we must see pictures/videos of the product and/or receive it back before a refund can be made. In cases where the product needs to be returned for a complaint, the customer is responsible for this with the help of a paid return label that we send digitally. If the customer wants a physical return label, we will send it at the customer’s expense according to the postal service’s pricing table.
In the event of a dispute, we follow the guidelines of ARN (the National Board for Consumer Complaints).
If you use the prepaid shipping label, a fee of EUR 10, including VAT, will be charged. Any shipping costs will not be refunded.
How do I return my product?
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you as a customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. Other costs, such as the cost of the product, will be refunded by us.
We recommend that you return the shipment in a way that ensures that the shipment arrives at our return address. Festgiganten also does not have the ability to collect packages at post offices.
